The CMS—our Content Management System—is essentially the DNA of your entire platform. It's within the confines of the CMS that all elements and features of your platform are determined, modified, and facilitated. And we've put together a series of articles to make navigating and using the features of the CMS as easy as possible.
A general maxim to keep in mind as you work through these articles—the CMS is built to be as functionally versatile as possible, to help you implement any and all specific wish-list items you have for your platform, from design elements to different ways of delivering content to your audience. And the key to adding new functionality to your site is to make use of our robust help apparatus, available in the "Help" widget in the lower right hand corner of every page within the CMS. Click there, submit a ticket with your specific request, and our tech team will get the process started to make your idea a reality.
To get you started working within the CMS with as much confidence as possible, we've made a map of articles below to give you a sense of how the system works, and its various possibilities. If you're new to OTTera or to working in a CMS, we highly recommend bookmarking this article, and reading them in the order listed below. And, as always, email Caitlin or Brendan with any and all questions. We've got your back!
